Charity Golf day at Little Frankston – Saturday 22nd March 2014
Firstly I would sincerely like to thank all the golfers who participated in our fundraising day at Little Frankston. Thank you for getting into the spirit and being so generous on the day for our children in Cambodia. This was the 6th year the event was held and I limited the field of players so the day would not linger on, not sure if this actually worked!!

Our golf pros – Rory, Tommy and Chris were just fabulous and raised lots of funds hitting those balls for you – thank you again for being there this year. You made it such a fun day for everyone.

This day does not happen without a lot of sponsorship. Many now have been sponsoring this special day for all 6 years. Tommy Collins Events – such delicious food once again and Mikey ran the day so well, we just love the barista on the verandah and all those yummy muffins and scones.. Guala Closures with Simon Yudelevich sourcing all the wine, beer, sparkling and beverages that you happily consumed yesterday. Kingston Heath Golf Club – thank you Gregg and Justin for everything you do to support this day each year. BMW Bib Stillwell are most generous to again sponsor the BMW hole, a hotly contested one which raises lots of funds. Gary Lisbon at Golf Select with his fabulous books and calendars. Princes Laundry once again provided all the crisp white cloths and napkins. The Gum Tree Good Food Store – Ray and David we missed you playing this year but the hampers and vouchers were fantastic. Frankston Golf Club for providing such a delightful venue and wonderful golf course to play on, everyone just loves it and the challenge of each hole. Gail and Kevin Donovan from Donovan’s restaurant – we missed you this year but thank you for your sponsorship, we are all wanting to come dine with the winner!

A big thank you to my helpers in the background – Philo O’Neil, Rosie Emery and Eileen Crewes You are all so fabulous….

Congratulations to our new Winners – Robyn and Reg Hanson from Kingston Heath with 52 points, enjoy your Cambodian treasures. Tommy McIntosh and Renato Pellicano the Runner – Up team with 51 points, what bandits you are so next year your handicap is looking considerably lower!! 3rd Place went to Jeffery Gross and Peter Jackson – on a count back from 3 other teams – well done.

My sincere thanks once again to all the golfers, our wonderful sponsors and the volunteers that helped out on the day. The day runs so smoothly with the assistance of the volunteers – thank you once again. It looks like the day raised well over $11,500 – a fantastic amount however the figure will be finalised over the next few days.
